Thursday, April 18, 2024 - What a wonderful wine. Still going strong since we last visited it in 2022. Dark berry notes dominate the nose to start. Hints of anise emerged on the back end.This wine still has a fruit forward start. It is a well balanced wine with a smooth, long, lingering finish. It finishes with a slight tannic bite. This wine still has many years ahead of it. I hope to catch this wine when the tannins come into perfect balance with the fruit.
