Tuesday, May 9, 2023 - Oaky, rustic nose with some sweet black cherry fruit. Chalky and coarse palate of stewed black fruit and tart, acidic red cherry. Chewy tannins, dry fruit, tobacco leaf, and astringent oak on the finish. Doubtful there's enough fruit to improve but the oak needs time to be tamed.
