Thursday, January 27, 2011 - Pale golden, seemingly younger than it's 13 years. Nose was a bit restrained with hints of apple cider, crushed chalk, dried lily flowers, baked lemon zest and hazelnut skins. If this is a wine that suffers from premox, then I would've loved to have experienced it 6-7 years ago! Palate was nicely etched with a roundness, mature acids and secondary flavors that follow the nose, dried floral, slightly honeyed yet mineral driven.
