Thursday, July 6, 2023 - PnP. Pure red fruit (raspberry, cherry, and strawberry). The fruit aroma has a wonderful sweet character to it. Some spice, and some earthiness I didn't get last time. On the palate the fruit is focused and leaner, with good acidity and supply tannins to balance and frame the fruit. A bit more secondary character than the last time I tasted this in Nov 2019, but this still seems young like it has a lot more to show and needs some time. Fresh and bright, but also elegant and lean. The balance is terrific and the character is classic Oregon pinot.
