Wednesday, June 24, 2020 - Trial balloon. From Coravin.
Funky nose to start with, benefits from breathing. Probably sulphur but it does go away. It gets better and better, give it a minimum of one hour, an hour and half is even better.
Remarkably smooth, precise, deep without feeling too dense or jammy; black fruit dominate: blackberries, dark cherry notes.
Brilliant future ahead. Great wine.
95 for now. Could be more in a few years.
