Monday, November 6, 2023 - Contributed this bottle to a stellar lineup up of wines with Dominik Huber at lunch. The bottle was a little warm for service compared to others, so it felt a little more one dimensional, a great mix of red and dark fruit in a liqueured way reminiscent of Chateauneuf du Pape in a warm year from a good producer. Corked this back up and took it home. A little more air and the cooler temperature helped this open up nicely, lots more violet pastille and Provencal flavors seemed to emerge with the silky yet substantial structure of Northern Rhone, layered, nuanced showing a delicacy unlike most other Priorat and the freshness to make this very food friendly; really tasty but the newer vintages seem to really be dialed in with their finesse and dynamic personalities.
