Sunday, February 26, 2023 - friends brought this over for dinner. popped cork about 30 minutes before while we polished off a bottle of champagne. Solid napa cab that is starting to show some signs of age, with some tertiary notes, hints of raisin, leather.
One of the few 2016s that seems to have peaked early, but not surprising as it lacks the depth and concentration of many of its peers, costing twice as much.
