Friday, June 26, 2020 - Luscious dark berry aromas with lavender oil, clay, cedar and sandalwood. Dense on the palate. A bit hot on the entry. Nice acidity that perhaps pushes the alcohol forward but it is a touch high at 14.5. Flavors of berry tart with zesty white pepper, allspice and garrigue on the finish. Aside from the heat, it’s a tasty wine.
