Tuesday, May 26, 2009 - garnet/brownish color. lots of life and fruit. nice meaty aromas coupled with hints of licorice, dark cherries and plenty of earth. fresh in the mouth with a very lively texture. medium finish. this isn't a profound wine but it is very well made, balanced and completely enjoyable. superb with homemade sausage ragu.
