Sunday, January 7, 2024 - First night. Peculiar. Very unbalanced, with a bizarre twangy note mid-palate. Undrinkable.

Second night. Classic Borgogno. Much more balanced and has opened-up beautifully. This bottle evolved incredibly into a wonderful old Barolo. Notes of caramel, tobacco and black cherry, with a medium finish.
