Tuesday, April 10, 2007 - This Riserva was decanted by the winery in January 2006 in order to remove the sediment, topped up and then released for consumption. Light complected - almost clear with age around the rim this wine needed several more hours in a decanter before it opened up. A nose of matured dark cherries and mellowed flavours of cherries & plumbs, this lovely wine is built to last another ten years or more, but drinking beautifully now.
