Friday, November 5, 2021 - Nebbiolo and White Truffles (Matt's, Portland OR): This was a late-release bottle. It showed off a ton more youthful than the vintage would have you think (almost certainly from it being a late-release) and was beautifully perfumed with dark red cherries, strawberries, juniper berries, raspberries, leather, black tea, licorice, herbal spices, and some earth notes. The Medium/full bodied feel is silky and refined with crisp, high acidity and well-integrated, medium+ tannins. The structure has fully peeled back and this was a real delight.
