Sunday, March 5, 2023 - Opened this hours ahead of time anticipating that it would need air but, nope, so put the cork back in for later.
Really floral in the glass. Riveting. First sip gets your attention. Cranberry notes but not tart, actually a touch of sweetness and slightly savory. The fruit is subdued, subtle, earthy. A mid weight feel to the wine that results in a very mellow experience. Elegant on the palate.
Really felt like we were drinking something at its' peak.
