2017 Pearl Morissette Estate Winery Chardonnay Cuvee Metis Blanc was clear medium gold with no sediments, with nose of pear, apples, toast and brine. The Chardonnay had yogurt-like funkiness with half an hour of aeration. On the palette, it was dry, full-bodied, medium in acidity and spicy. The flavour was like yeasty Asian pear, and the yeasty funky touch lingered in the medium finish. (89)
