Wednesday, October 10, 2018 - "2019" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/7/2018-10/12/2018 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {screwcap} May have been the oakiest wine I tasted all week. Sandalwood, nuts. Lots of buttery flavours too; there may have been primary fruit under here once but I’m damned if I can find it under the oak and butter and malo. Medium weight, with low chalky tannins and a short/medium but rather one-dimensional finish.
