Monday, November 28, 2022 - Piemonte: Back to the truffling!; 11/24/2022-12/3/2022 (Wineries and various restaurants): So this takes a bit more time and while I have loved most all of the versions of this wine I’ve had on this trip (it’s been my replacement Roagna because Luca never writes us back and this has a lot of elegance). I can’t wait for the visit. This wine needed more time than some other years, but still you can tell he managed the heat very well and with that extra time this softens and is beautiful. We meet him tomorrow but already I am a fan of the wine we’ve tried.
