Friday, April 8, 2022 - The six-year-old Chardonnay from Napa is drinking so nicely right now. Nice to see how it aged.
Full-bodied and bold with medium acidity.
Showing yellow and red apples, melons, citrus, spices, light oak, vanilla, herbs and white pepper.
Creamy, buttery, and not over the top with a oak notes. Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel.
Nicely balanced with a tangy finish.
Good right out of the bottle, and better when not too cold.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
14.4% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
$40.
