Sunday, July 9, 2023 - Decanted and served. Dull ruby to the edge. Complex aromas of dark fruit, licorice, olive, and bark. Full bodied but not ponderous. Magical mix of succulent, perfectly ripe fruit, spice, and savory elements. Sappy, long, and bolstered by terrific acidity and round, ripe tannins. Delicious now but impressively young with miles to go. Outstanding wine by any measure.
