Friday, July 8, 2022 - Dull ruby center, not perfect clarity due to light sediment present. Bark and licorice dominate the aromas. Medium weight but still chewy. Some ripe cherry, herbs, and dark, savory flavors with excellent acidity and a tannic finish. Impressive wine that has not yet peaked. Older, more brooding style of Chateauneuf, certainly not an old vine Grenache sweet raspberry bomb!
