Saturday, November 27, 2021 - This is quite a nice light wine, but it needs 30 minutes of air. Initially the nose is a bit closed and the palate heavy on tannins. But after some air the nose develops into a rather nice mix of slightly sweet red fruit and a little minerality. The palate then follows the nose, still with quite prominent tannin and quite delicate. This is a wine that needs some slightly rich but not strongly flavoured/spiced food.

Comparing to the 2018 (qv) I prefer the younger wine with more prominent fruit. But both are interesting at ~US$19.
