Saturday, February 10, 2024 - Very good aged Macon. It started out rich, and honeyed (as others also said below), and frankly. it seemed a bit long in the tooth initially. After an hour or so, it acquired more acidity, and minerality. The sweetness almost disappeared. It had a chalky, minerally backbone, and a bit of a tannic grip that I wouldn't have believed possible after my first sip. Insanely good burgundy for the price!
This was my third, and last bottle.
