Saturday, March 30, 2019 - Berserkerday wine! Cost about $17 with tax and shipping. The nose was tropical and floral. The palate was mostly tropical fruit with just a tiny bit of Viognier spice. As Brig said, probably not guess Viognier blind, but it was close. A bit less spice than I expect from Viognier, but more tropical fruit. Almost a Gewurz lychee nut on the nose.

This wine stood up nicely to roast chicken with a tomatillo and Guaillo pepper sauce that was salsa verde that was red due to the Guaillos. My son, who is not a fan of white wine. rated it good, which is high praise, and my wife, who is not a viognier fan, said it was a very good example of good winemaking for a grape she did not love. I would buy it again at this price.

My only criticism is that they should lay the 8 on its side, add another circle, and call it D-V-ant.
