Tuesday, October 19, 2021 - Opened the first of 6 I purchased 3/19. After a short decant of 1/3 bottle, I was very disappointed. Did not taste or smell like I was expecting. Didn't even seem like there was much hope. But on the second night after being vacuumed and recorked it was tremendously transformed. Starting to show some of the expected character of a quality Napa cab.

I think this wine needs at least a couple more years before I will open anther. Just a heads up for anyone else who is thinking about poping a cork.
