Wednesday, March 28, 2007 - Zepplan opened this at his home after a CWM dinner last weekend. This is Fontanafredda's regular Barolo bottling. This bottle was on par with the 1996 and 1997 vintages of this wine which I have had many times. A little youthful but drinking well. Aromas of forest floor and cherries. Some notes of mocha and red fruit. medium bodied. 89-90 points.
