Wednesday, October 3, 2007 - Notes of tar, burnt wood, and flowers give way to dusty, dried cherries, herbs, and almonds in a grippy, medium-bodied package. A bit angular and lacking in concentration, but a pleasant, affordable, and obviously infantile Barolo. We'll see how the fruit holds up as the tannins fall away. By Barolo standards, a QPR.
