Thursday, March 11, 2021 - Chambolle Musigny "Southside" 1er Cru Tasting (Chicagoland IL): In Groffier Hauts-Doix vertical with a 2005 Amoureuses kicker. Also very bright, but a slight awkwardness that took its time to dissipate. Very dense and powerful, this didn't have the grace and balance of the Amoureuses, but shared the same basic profile. Even better tonight vs when last tasted 3+ years ago. Just not as great as the 2010.
