Friday, June 26, 2020 - This is showing brilliantly now. Mature, but not fully so, there is more positive evolution ahead. A smooth, rich wine, with great class and complexity. Good acidity, with firm yet silky tannins which hold the wine together very well. Surprised me as to how good it was, and I’d put this in front of the 1994 now. There is another 15-20 years of great drinking ahead with this wine.
