Monday, September 7, 2020 - If someone had served this to me blind, I am not sure what I would have said. It seemed to be a hypothetical blend of a German Riesling Feinherb and an Austrian Smaragd. Off dry and quite full bodied, it worked as a dinner wine, and on its own. Sunshiney peach and pineapple fruit gave some nod to California, but this was more ur-Riesling than an exemplar of west coast fruit. Nicely done!
