Sunday, November 13, 2022 - Annual homemade goose dinner with Kathi and Silke.

48% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc.

2.5h decant which was fine. Liked it better than the 2013 Magnol I had a while ago and the 2015 Saint Julien we had right before.
Dark berries palate with tobacco, thyme, still fresh acidity (3.1 g/L TA vs 1.9 g/L RS), silky tannins, and light oak. Suckling (91) and Wine Enthusiast (90) rated it well.
