Saturday, January 1, 2011 - still pitch. nose of plums skin. some tar. palate tannins are still there. seems like the acid has waned. i didn't find this too syrupy. i guess because the tannins have that fine grain to keep the dark fruit in balance. fruit has settled down a bit. still tons of blueberry pie and huckleberry. yummy stuff.
