Friday, March 8, 2019 - PNP. cork wet 3/4 way up but intact. color ruby with bricking edges. nose super earthy with some iron cranberry cherry in back. swishing shows terse acidity and still some fine grained tannin bringing up the rear. finish shows some skin/stem flavor. still has very good length on the finish. sipping shows good balance and there is plenty of fruit although this is becoming secondary. in a great place to drink - i suppose it might soften further but glad i drank it tonight.
