89 Points

Wednesday, December 20, 2023 - Got a few bottles at auction for a good price. Coravined a glass at the end of the night. Drinking in a great spot, but I can't help but think Morgan and Chris have gotten better at this bottling with the '20 and '21 releases.

Nose of dark plums, marshmallows, baking spices, bitter green herbs, and a touch of cocoa. Medium-heavy bodied, medium-high acidity, structured, old school straight forward Sonoma Cab. Palate starts off with green herbs and bell peppers, then plums, blackberries, olive skin, and dark minerals. Chewy tannins but they don't add much to the party. Long tannic finish - dark fruit skins, dark minerals, and a bit of cocoa.
