On the palate- Huge lush red fruits and dark candied cherries, dark blueberries and boysenberries, violets and purple flowers, lavender and dark currants, cola and baking spices, nutmeg and cardamom, mace and anise, with a hint of oak and vanilla on the back end. This wine is drinking killer being really young but does need a serious 3 hour decant if not longer to really open up and show its stuff. The tannins are super lush and smooth and work great with the tremendous fruit. I see this wine aging for another 5-7 years if not longer with no problem at all
