Sunday, February 18, 2024 - Hello to an old friend. Grenache nose, kirsch, red cherry fruit, white pepper, spices. Lovely sweet fruit on the palate, cherry, raspberry. Surprisingly fresh and lively, but such is 1999 in the southern Rhône. And there’s a thing with 100+ year old vines. Happy to have a few bottles left in the cellar.
