Monday, May 30, 2011 - Much better than the bottle we had a couple of years ago. The alcoholic notes are largely gone, and the typical pinot aromatics (cinnamon, nutmeg) were very much present. I wouldn't have thought this wine could recover from the high toned alcoholic notes, so this was a pleasant surprise.
