Saturday, December 29, 2012 - Purple center with ruby rim. The nose was very expressive with lovely orange blossom, cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, and root beer notes. The palate provided hedonistic cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate flavors wrapped in a delicate cloak of chocolate. The balanced acidity highlighted the plush mouthfeel of this medium-bodied wine. The finish was long and packed with great fruit. Overall, this wine still displays great fruit that is a Kosta Browne hallmark, but the acidity maintains control over this hedonistic pleasure.
