91 Points

Saturday, April 19, 2008 - The first of our Passover wines. Popped and poured. Moderate red color. Not thin but not inky. Flavor is classic CA pinot noir but with more stuffing to it. Red fruit, especially cherry, a bit of cola, some toasty background. We had 7 CA pinots on Thursday at Walkers and I would rate this better than any of them. The flavor profile is solid but balanced. Does not appear to have suffered from infanticide. Others also agreed that it was strong-flavored for a pinot noir.
