2004 Tardieu-Laurent Côte-Rôtie

Community Tasting Note

Tuesday, September 14, 2010 - The second bottle had a healthier, moderate ruby color. Good but relatively simple black fruit. What began as an uplifting high tone in the aroma would up as volatile acidity that disrupted the harmony of the finish. The only good thing was that this stopped short of being the vinegar bomb that the first bottle was. Grossly disappointing wine without any of the charm or finesse of true Cote Rotie. Avoid.
