Friday, May 8, 2020 - Really attractive development with savoury, complex maturity notes over soft red-plum fruit. Smooth as velvet on the palate, with decent acidity and well-integrated alcohol - much more so now than when we last had it about eight years ago. Oh so typical refreshing salinity on the finish. Paired nicely with elk meat patty and green pepper sauce, and most enjoyable as a food companion. Any remaining bottles better drunk now or quite soon.
