Friday, July 31, 2020 - Opened for a Zoom tasting with Thomas Keller, which was immensely interesting. I can see why this wine has gotten some early rave reviews. Decanted for 5 full hours and enjoyed over another 90 minutes. Dark fruit, cherry and bramble on the nose, with a hint of alcohol showing. Red and black fruit on the palate, without a hint of jammy-ness. Nice umami note, too. Great mouthfeel, long finish. Medium high acid and moderate tannin. I definitely need to buy a case of this.
