Sunday, April 16, 2023 - Off the list, the last bottle in the cellar at Berns in Tampa, (thanks for finding it, Dustin!) in perfect shape, lots of iron, brambly black raspberry , and black loam. Pink peppercorn spice, inky liquid granite, and framboise on the long finish. Wonderful with the 100 day dry aged ribeye, which when charred and medium rare was beefier and less gamey than expected. Not quite as captivatingly feral as my beloved ‘90, but a winner. Beautiful acidity, silky tannins , prime drinking now, and for 20+ years!
