Sunday, July 9, 2023 - Decanted for about two hours and notes taken over the next three. Medium and deep purple - no sign of age. Nose is intense with the typical dark red fruit, black pepper and bacon. Palate is still fruit driven with incredible intensity and complexity behind the fruit. Tannins are ripe and present, but hard to notice behind the fruit. Approachable now but will get better. Decades to go.
