Saturday, March 31, 2012 - Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Black and intense aromas - Blackberry, boysenberry, licorice, black pepper. Slightly floral in the way that the best vintages of Chave show me Burgundian charm. Powerful fruit-driven palate with firm tannins, that despite being open and decanted for several hours, demanded another couple of decades in the cellar. Very long, very powerful finish.
