91 Points

Sunday, July 24, 2011 - Purple, opaque. Fairly muted nose of black forrest fruit and black olives. Decanted for an hour then back into biottle. Bright acidity and sift tannins. Lush full flavoured. Ripe prunes and damsons, black olives, garrique, mushrooms. Long finish. Excellent with mild mushroom and truffle linguine. Just needs a bit more time to open out further but a lovely harmonious wine will emerge.
