Thursday, January 5, 2023 - Opened and tasted, a bit high acidity and harsh tannins, flat with short finish. All expected of course. Placed in the decanter for a short 15 minutes and then the music began…

The wine is medium plus body, the nose is beautiful perfume, on the palate it has it all, still good fruit, tabaco and herbs, minerality, good acidity, fine tannins, great complexity, and ending with the finesse of a graceful matured Napa Cabernet.

This paired nicely with a Churrasco medium rare and some cheese.

Great now, possibly at its peak but no rush.
