Saturday, January 8, 2022 - Organic. Pale gold, with lots of sediment and tartaric crystals. Med. aromas of bruised apple, ripe lemon, melon and a hint of stone fruit. Dry, with med acidity and med (+) alcohol (13.5%), with classic Pinot Gris phenolic bitterness on the medium-long finish. Med (+) body and flavor intensity. The mouthfeel is slightly oily/creamy most likely due to the 11 months spent on the lees. Good quality and somewhat evocative of Alsace, but I wish the acidity was a little higher. Drink now, not likely to improve with further aging.
