Monday, April 22, 2019 - I was disconcerted at first my a slight iodine touch on entry but as soon as I got used to it I liked this wine for its crisp tangy fruit and minerals with that typical underlying roundness and impression that a sweet wine is trying to emerge. On the finish there was an agreeably bitter feeling of tannic presence which may owe something to 14% alcohol. Good wine and reasonable QPR at c.€9.
