Monday, August 10, 2020 - Bought on release, perfect cork. Deeper purple color, silky texture. A bit hot and tannic when opened, but softened after a few hours in the glass. Definite wood fragrance and a surprising nutmeg spice for Volnay. Drink now, but only after ample air, but will hold and soften over another 3-5 years.
