Friday, May 27, 2022 - Keeps improving with age -- now in its prime. It's what this wine is expected to be -- dark, brooding, big bodied, large attack on the senses. Never anything shy when it hits its stride -- lots of chocolate, earthiness, embers, dark fruit, with good supporting structure. Long finish. Lacks refinement but never promised that. Fun wine.
