Tuesday, June 29, 2021 - Nose like a very old timey California bordeaux blend. Lots of cab character: cassis, herbs, cocoa, espresso. Very savory. Medium plus acid, medium plus tannin. These wines really showcase the effect of altitude on Virginia wines--these are some of the most classically styled wines being made in the state.
